After Isuzu, KIA Motors has also increased the price of its product, Grand Carnival, by PKR 700,000.
As per the details, only the price of EX variant has been hiked by the company, while the rates of the other variant LX has not been changed whatsoever. The new price of Grand Carnival EX variant is PKR 6,499,000, previously it was PKR 5,799,000. Moreover, the price of the LX variant is PKR 4,899,000.
There are no clear reasons as to why the company increased the rates, however, as per an industry expert, the reasons could be economic instability and devaluation of rupee against the US Dollar.
The 3rd gen Kia Grand Carnival is a front engine, front wheel drive MPV, which is available in 11 Seater capacity. The car is also known as Kia Sedona in other regions of the world. Kia Grand Carnival is available in 2 variants in Pakistan; LX, and EX.

The vehicle comes with 3.3 Liter DOHC 24-Valve V6 engine mated to a 6-speed auto transmission that produces 270 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 318 Nm of torque at 5,200.
Other than Kia Motors, Al-Haj FAW and Isuzu have also revised the car prices with a great difference. Furthermore, Pak Suzuki also jacked up the rates of its bikes up to PKR 8,000.
