And Bro, with due respect, just change of engine oil along with oil filter is not enough for the perfect well being of a car!
Toyota is known for its Ruggedness, Tough and Tough, Mazbuuti and Paidaari, but it can never mean that it does not require any regular preventive / periodic maintenance, other than just oil change along with filter. If the car suddenly breaks down on a journey due to piling up of many different issues which explode cumulatively, then there can be a big problem!
One needs to take care of many other things too!
To mention a few:
- Brake service after regular intervals, it's extremely important for the safety of car, passengers, and others on road
- Wheel balancing / alignment after regular intervals, or as and when reqd.
- Tires rotation after every 10,000 Kms or as per manual
- Change of oils / lubricants after regular intervals
- Replacement of Radiator coolant after 100,000 Kms or as per manual
- Inspection and replacing of belts and chains after regular intervals
- Changing tires, when they complete their service life or shelf life (whichever comes first)
- Catalytic Converter; it's cleaning or replacement
- Air Filter, it's cleaning or replacement
Etc.
When owner strictly follows regular preventive maintenance, car life increase and he / she faces little-to-No problems, otherwise, car will continue to work, but a time will come when it will break down suddenly, all at once!
To me, the car does not seem well-maintained. It can become problematic anytime. I hope, you will not mind and try to understand my points, because these are in one's own interest. No doubt, routine regular maintenance do cost money, but saves one from big, uncertain and sudden problems in the long run.
A stitch in time saves 9!
