Viral video raises the price of a used Honda Accord from $499 to $5,600
There are countless ways you can help your loved ones, and they will need your help from time to time, that is sure. But what this guy did for her girlfriend could very easily make him the hero of her life, forever.
His girlfriend owns a green 1996 Honda Accord EX, and it has over 141,000 miles under its belt. The car was listed on eBay at a starting price of $499, bidding-style. A video was posted on YouTube, that starts with a black screen with two strings of text, the first one says,
“My girlfriend needs to sell her car,” and the next one goes, “To help her, I made this commercial.”
The commercial then goes on to show a series of expertly shot and edited cinematographic scenes where a woman is driving the car in different scenarios. In a scene, she has her cat on her lap; in another one, she is pouring out coffee while driving.
Needless to say, the video is quite like the ones that we see of Lexus, Nissan, and BMW cars. The car may not be quite the best sight, but the way this video shows it, you will grow a liking for it. The video was posted by a writer and director from Los Angeles, Max Lanman.
We don’t know if the video had an effect on the viewers, or whether it was the effort by the boyfriend that won the hearts of the people, but for whatever reason, it went viral. The video was seen on the top trending page of YouTube and especially rocketed on Reddit. Currently, the video has over 4,694,000 hits, and the latest bid on the car is above $5K.
