Honda City stands out as the best value for money car: Survey

Due to constraint, people don’t have much choice to choose from locally manufactured cars. However, this is all going to change as many new automakers have come to Pakistan including Korean and French automakers. There is a bulging middle-class population in the country who tries to purchase a car based on resale value and for its value for money. In 2017, PakWheels.com conducted an industry survey to see the interest of people about particular brands and cars and also to get an overall insight of the auto industry.

There were many questions asked in the survey about different brands, cars and bikes, and one of the questions was about the best car regarding value for money. And a great number of people voted in favour of Honda City as the best car regarding value for money in the local category. While in the imported category, the car owners/users voted in favour of Toyota Land Cruiser.

It is pertinent to mention here that Honda Civic has been crowned car of the year 2017.

Many other brands have won People’s Choice Award as well.

Honda Pakistan sold 37,004 units of Civic and City in the Fiscal Year 2016-17. The company till now has launched five generations of Honda City in Pakistan. The current fifth generation was launched back on 31st January 2009. The new Honda City can achieve an estimated 18 Km/L average on highways and 12 to 16 Km/L of average within the city.
